COMMUNE COUNCIL MONITORING UNIT

The Commune Council Monitoring Unit (CCMU) works to strengthen commune institutions and create greater accountability in local public sector, especially with respect to elected officials. The CCMU consists of two projects: (i) Commune Council Monitoring Project (CCM) and (ii) Commune Council Hearing Project (CCH).

The CCMU is headed by Ms. Lach Rozet, she is Cambodian with Bachelor in Law that has extensive experience in election issues and parliamentary processes, democracy and human rights. She is assisted by a staff, Ms. Moniroth Ouk, Assistant with Bachelor in Law that has experience in election issues and parliamentary process, democracy and human rights.
